Morowali Flash Flood

PKPU Online PALU - Continuous rain pouring down on the majority of Central Sulawesi have not only given blessing to the land, but also disaster to several people in North Bungku District, Morowali Regency.

The district, populated by some 4,000 people, was shocked by a flash flood Monday night (23/7/2007), drifting the majority of the houses in the area.

Tak hanya benda, banjir kali ini merenggut korban jiwa mencapai 70 orang, sesuai data sementara yang di himpun 11 orang tim rescue PKPU Sulteng di lapangan. Saat ini pengungsian warga terpusat di Desa
Baturube, salah satu daerah di kawasan Bungku Utara yang tidak terkena banjir.

Indonesia Relief USA Together with PKPU Constructing Permanent School

Jakarta - 905 school building in Jokjakarta were demolished by the 5,9 scale richer earthquake on Saturday (27/5/2006). The school buildings in Bantul and many other areas do not follow standard of security. Many of the buildings are old particularly the elementary school buildings.
